Jordan adjusted his cufflinks one final time..

He stood in the aisle of his own aircraft, boarding pass in hand, waiting for a woman who didn't know who he was to decide whether she felt like standing up.
Around him, the cabin had become a theater.

The cabin went absolutely silent.

A woman in row seven literally grabbed her husband's arm.

The college student across the aisle put her hand over her mouth.
Colleen Straford did not move. Did not speak. The color that left her face did not come back.
"The airline," she finally said. The words came out barely above a whisper. "You own the airline."
"Yes," Jordan said simply.

Jordan smiled. Small, genuine, tired around the edges.

"Does it still bother you?" the host asked.
Jordan was quiet for a moment.

He paused.
"I want to build something that makes it easier for those people. That's what the foundation is for. That woman on that plane — I don't think she's a monster. I think she made a choice she'd been allowed to make her whole life without consequence." He looked at the host. "The goal isn't to punish people for who they've been. It's to build a world where being that way becomes harder."
